GCH DreamKatcher Kasaan's Ketch T'Fortune

After I evaluated the litter of 8  (Nov 2011) and was told  KETCH aka  BRUTUS was most likely heading to a pet home, Pam and I both felt he was WAY TOO nice to be just sitting pretty on a couch!! 

So, KETCH came to live at KASAAN  co owned with Pam (DREAMEKATCHER), and  made his adorable presence known to all .     

His pedigree speaks for itself.  Granite, Jacob, Bugs, K.O. just to name a few!! And   has the BEST qualities from both his sire..MOOSE and his dam, LILLY.  

Lovely thick ears and ear set, a balanced sidegait and carries a correct Malamute coat. 

KETCH finished his Championship in very limited showing, and before the age of 2 years.  

 He is now co-owned with Stephanie Lindeman  (SIGMA) 

Stephanie decided  (2018-2019)  to show him in Owner Handler shows, taking numerous Best of Breeds, Group placements, Group 1's and on to aReserve Best in Show- Owner Handler!  And has currently ranked him in the Top Twenty for 2019 (as of Dec 31st 2018). 

KETCH  is the sire to numerous champions, including Specialty winners, Sweepstakes winners, Top Twenty contenders, the 2014 AMCA National Specialty Best puppy in Show, and a Top ranked Specials bitch in 2018!  

He is fast approaching the prestigious title ROM, which round out his  name on both ends.   

KETCH is at stud to approved bitches, with either live, fresh and /or frozen semen. 

He is OFA'd, Cerfed Cleared on eyes , PN tested thru DNA

CH Kasaan's N Terrapin's A Champagne Toast T'Fortune

Chamois is my lovely Fendi daughter. A girl who not only exudes in breed type, her movement is exactly what I strive for here at Kasaan. 

She started out her show career at 6 months of age with a Reserve Winners Bitch win at the Great Lakes Area Specialty and went onto a Grandsweepstakes win under noted Handler Pat Murray at the Genesee Kennel Club. !!!! Chamois then came back out in December 2016 and was Winners Bitch 2 straight weekends in a row accumulating 12 points and a major!! Chamois then went on to the Minnesota Working Dog Specialty in January 2017 and went Winners Bitch for a 5 point major to add the coveted title CHAMPION to her name! All before the age of 15 months. Undefeated in the classes!!

Chamois's registered name is in honor of her parentage. FORTUNE (Destry) and CHAMPAGNE n Ice (Terrapin). And the fact she looks so much like the old KASAAN dogs... I felt it only fitting for this registered name of ... A Champagne Toast T' Fortune.

Chamois will go up to Canada this summer to finish her Canadian title then will check out the whelping box before she heads into her Specials career late in 2018!

CH Kasaan's Lovin' The Fortune

KELAH is the repeat breeding of BLISS~Ch. Kasaan's Bless The Fortune...out of RORY and FENDI.   KELAH again, being a singleton...is definitely  her mother thru and thru.  

 Having gone thru her own little life struggles, KELAH popped back with all she had and proved once again, she's a KASAAN Mal! 

KELAH made her presence in the conformation ring at 6 mons and took her first points.   And has continued her winning ways as she picked up a Grand Sweepstakes win at the same Specialty her siblings  (BLISS and CHAMOIS half sister) have been so proudly awarded.  And also went RWB at the Specialty from the 9-12 puppy class 

The biggest surprise of all was KELAH winning WINNERS bitch at the 2018 AMCA National Regional under breeder judge Roseann Deutsche at 13 mons of age.  She then went on to win GRAND FUTURITY winner under breeder judge Tricia Till at the National .  This prestigious award was also given to her sire RORY 2014 and her dam FENDI 2011.  

This is also the first time in breed history that the breeder, owner, handler is the owner of the sire AND dam AND the Grand Futurity winner were won by ONE individual (  Bonnie McMahon Howen~ KASAAN) and that both sire and dam were Grand Futurity  winners as well!! 

Not to stop there...Ms Kelah went on to win GRAND SWEEPSTAKES at the National under breeder judge Jennifer Corr!!  WOW ! WOW !   

KELAH is following  fast in her dam's paw prints of being  a Specialty Winner, Grandsweepstakes winner and Grand Futurity winner!!  With her gorgeous breed type, adding in her FLAWLESS movement both coming/going  and sidegait...KELAH has definitely made her mark in the show ring and breed! 

Looking forward to  'Lovin' more fun times in the show ring starting in February 2019 with this  stunning   beauty !
